Newport Beach Majors division tournament

Buchanan Street Partners defeated Jacks Surfboards in an opening round game of the Newport Beach Little League Majors National Division tournament 6-0.

Luke Napalitano pitched a complete game 1 hit shut out for the victory. It was Luke’s second 1 hitter of the season to go along with an earlier no hit game. Chris Croxton walked with the bases loaded for the first and winning run. Harry Lamb executed two perfict base hit bunts in critical situations and Thomas Sweeney had a bases loaded triple in the 5th inning to put the game out of reach. Also playing key rolls in the game were Chad Redrearn, Peter Walecka, Ryan Maister, Ricky Zak, Robbie Farber, Paul Sigler, Cole Collins and Jared Eckenweiler
