Newport Beach resident Kaes Van’t Hof, a senior at USC, and his tennis partner, Robert Farah, are the No. 2 seed in doubles at the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships that begin today at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center in Tulsa, Okla.

Van’t Hof, who won the Pac-10 singles and doubles titles in April at Ojai, is also competing in the singles event, which also includes UC Irvine senior Victor Lamm.

Van’t Hof and Farah are 34-3 this season and take a 21-match winning streak into Thursday’s first-round match against Ed Corrie and Kellen Damico of Texas.

Van’t Hof had his 19-match singles winning streak halted in the Trojans’ loss in the NCAA team quarterfinals last week. He faces No. 2-seeded Greg Ouellette of Florida in today’s first round at 11 a.m.

Lamm squares off against Albert Larrengola of Virginia Tech today at 1 p.m. in a first-round singles match.

There are 64 entries in the singles and doubles draws. The finals are scheduled for Monday.
