Pharmacy employee held in embezzlement

A woman was arrested May 14 at Pavilions market in North Laguna on suspicion of stealing muscle relaxers, Kravetz said.

Maria Mim Schreiber, 39, a pharmacy technician, was caught by store security who had been watching her due to suspicions about her activities, Kravetz said. Laguna Beach police then arrested her on suspicion of grand theft and embezzlement, which stems from the allegation that the drugs were taken over a period of time.

Snack thefts lead to arrest outside Pavilions market
