Hibbard, David Nelson

Hibbard, David Nelson, 77, passed away May 23 at his home surrounded by

loving family and friends. He was born September 2, 1930, son of Norman and

Gennevieve Hibbard in Pasadena, California.

Dave left quite a mark on this world. He will be remembered as a devoted

family man and caring and giving friend whose wit, charm, and humor will

forever remain in our hearts.

Dave was preceded in death by his loving wife of 52 years, Carolyn ³Alper²

Hibbard.

He is survived by his two children, daughter Karen Phelps of Shoreham,

Vermont and son, Douglas Hibbard and wife Kathie of Laguna Niguel,

California. Along with five grandchildren; Genny, Ryan, Lindsay, Kirsten,

and Katie, 3 great grandchildren, brother Don Hibbard and wife Sandra, his

special lady friend Janet DeRuff, and ³little brother² Brandon. He will be

missed by his many family and friends.

A special thanks to his caregiver, our angel, Maria McKinzie, and Hospice,

who all made his last year closer to ³heaven.²

A Memorial Service celebrating his life will be held Thrusday, May 29th at

11am at Corona del Mar Community Church, 611 Heliotrope, CdM.

In lieu of flowers the family has set up an education fund for Dave¹s

³little brother² Brandon Navorette, in care of Bank of America, 3300 East

Coast HWY, Corona del Mar, California.
