Noah’s Ark musical to be performed

The combined adult choir, instrumentalists and children’s choir of Laguna Presbyterian Church will present a musical based on the Biblical story of Noah and the Ark, “Are you ready for 100% Chance of Rain?” by Walter S. Horsley at 4 p.m. June 8 in Fellowship Hall.

Suitable for both children and adults, the play offers an opportunity to learn or get reacquainted with the story of a man who listens to God, builds a huge boat, and fills it with pairs of animals in preparation for an unanticipated rainstorm that lasts 40 days and 40 nights, flooding the known world. An ark made from boxes will built on stage as part of the production directed by Laguna Presbyterian’s Choir Director Linda White, and choreographer Laura Hantke.
