Ceremony to honor student role models

Students who serve as role models for their peers will be awarded by Corona del Mar High School and the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce at the Corona Del Mar High School Character Awards ceremony at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday at Corona del Mar High School’s “big” gymnasium.

The award is intended to encourage students to earn respect and be examples of good character.

The award will be given to students who have served their community and demonstrated the values the award represents, regardless of race, family background, culture, economic status, academics or physical condition.
