Councilman Curry honored by Girls Lacrosse League

Newport Beach Councilman Keith Curry was honored Saturday by the Orange County Girls Lacrosse Organization for his efforts to locate playing fields in Newport Beach for girls lacrosse.

Working with the Newport Ridge Community Association, Curry assisted in providing playing space at Newport Ridge Park. “Girls lacrosse is one of the fasting growing sports in the nation,” said Curry. “Councilman Curry is a great friend of girls lacrosse. Without his help, we would not have been able to find playing space in Newport Beach,” commented lacrosse league organizer Ms. Lambert Forman. The league named Curry “Super Lacrosse Fan” for his efforts.
