GRADUATION EVENTS

The Laguna Beach High School graduation will take place at 8 p.m. Thursday at the Irvine Bowl on the Festival of Arts grounds, 650 Laguna Canyon Road.

Other senior events include:

?Today: Candle Rose at 6:30 p.m. in the Artists’ Theatre. The seniors will say goodbye by performing something meaningful. Attendance is free.

?Sunday: Baccalaureate, 4 to 5 p.m. at The Little Church by the Sea, 468 Legion Street. The GradNite 2008 Committee and the Interfaith Counsel invite family and friends to attend this memorable evening. A reception will immediately follow the ceremony.

?Monday: Senior Pool Party, 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the high school pool, with food and music. The GradNite 2008 Committee is sponsoring this event.

?Tuesday: Senior Trip to Knott’s Berry Farm, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Students check in at 9 a.m. on Short Street. Buses leave at 9:30 a.m. and depart from Knott’s at 4:30 p.m. for the return trip.

Students must leave and return on the bus and may not be picked up.

?Thursday: graduation ceremony, 8 p.m. Seniors will meet at the high school football bleachers for check-in at 6:30 p.m. and take bus transportation to the Festival of Arts (all students are required to take the bus).

No carry-on articles are allowed.

Buses will not return. Parents and guests should be seated in the Irvine Bowl by 7:30 p.m.
