AYSO clinics help coaches

Beginning soccer coaches that will be working with boys and girls ages 4 to 7 years attended coaching clinics hosted by Region 97 AYSO at Harper School Wednesday and Thursday.

The clinics answered questions concerning the everyone plays AYSO rules, and information was presented on what to expect as a teacher/coach for very young players. AYSO’s mission of enriching children’s lives was underlined.

Eighteen coaches attended each clinic and more than 45 coaches are expected to be working with small teams of 5 to 7 players starting in the fall.

Registration for AYSO’s fall season is still open and can be done online following instructions and using downloadable forms.
