Area 1

Cliff Drive: A dead sea lion was reported in the 100 block of the beach at 1:56 p.m. Wednesday.

Fairview Street: Two 10-speed bicycles, valued at $300, were reported stolen, after a chain was cut off, at 1:39 p.m. 100 block Saturday.

North Coast Highway: A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at 10:14 p.m., causing the closure of the highway on both sides until 11:02 p.m., in the 300 block on Saturday.

Oak Street: Water balloons were reportedly being hurled onto passersby in the 100 block at 11:56 a.m. Saturday.

Pinecrest Drive: Checks were reported stolen from a mailbox in the 300 block, and later recovered by Santa Ana police, at 5:41 p.m. Monday.

Laguna Canyon Frontage Road: A New York man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after driving erratically at Woodland Drive at 11:36 p.m. Thursday.

Area 3

Mountain View Drive: An unauthorized bank charge of $1,900 was reported in the 3000 block at 2:26 p.m. Tuesday.

Park Avenue: CPR was performed on a 70-year-old man who had a heart attack at a school gym in the 2000 block at 2:42 p.m. Thursday.

Sleepy Hollow: A 15-year-old girl had a broken leg after waves knocked her over in the 600 block of the beach at 1:09 p.m. Friday.

South Coast Highway: An Idaho man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication after a disturbance in a bar in the 600 block at 12:52 a.m Saturday.

South Coast Highway: A homeless man was issued a citation for marijuana possession and for having prescription drugs without a prescription in the 100 block of Main Beach at 9:19 a.m. Thursday.

Area 4

Del Mar Avenue: Keys were reported stolen at Brooks Street beach and then used to enter a vehicle in which items were stolen in the 1700 block at 10:21 a.m. Wednesday.

Moss Street: A Laguna Beach man was issued a citation for drug involvement after a traffic stop at South Coast Highway at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Mountain Road: A person with a possible head injury was taken to South Coast Medical Center after a traffic collision at Glenneyre Street at 3:13 p.m. Monday.

Ocean Way: A beached seal was reported in the 1900 block of Woods Cove beach at 2:37 p.m. Wednesday.

Oceanfront: A man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication after being found asleep on the sand at Cleo Street beach at 6:43 p.m. Friday.

St. Ann’s Drive: A woman was given medical assistance after she swallowed water in the 100 block of the beach at 4:49 p.m. Monday.

Tyrol Drive: A rattlesnake was relocated to a fire road from the stairs of a residence in the 3000 block where it was reported at 5:51 p.m. Wednesday.

Aliso Beach: A Mission Viejo man was arrested on suspicion of DUI at 2:22 a.m. Monday.

Coast Highway: Lifeguards rescued two people from a rip current in the 30800 block at 5:16 p.m. Friday.

Coast Highway: A desk phone valued at $500 was reported stolen from a hospital in the 31000 block at 12:04 p.m. Thursday.

Coast Highway: A car fire was reported in the 31000 block at 6:07 a.m. Monday.

Coast Highway: A Los Alamitos man was arrested on a drug charge after a traffic stop in the 30000 block at 2:50 a.m. Tuesday.

Shreve Drive: Lifeguards assisted multiple people who were caught in a rip current in the 00 block of Treasure Island Beach at 1:38 p.m. Saturday.

10th Avenue: A Laguna Beach man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop at Coast Highway at 2:14 a.m. Friday.
