Fury has been unstoppable in tournament runs

South Huntington Beach Fury, a 12-and-under Silver All-Star team from South Huntington Beach Girls Fastpitch Softball, has won all five tournaments the team has participated in during this postseason.

The Fury boasts an undefeated record of 26-0 in tourney competition. The squad has won championships at the Oceanside, San Clemente Memorial Day, the South Huntington Beach Surf City Classic, Laguna Niguel Sea Country Classic and the Norwalk Summer Daze Classic tournaments.

The Fury offense has averaged nearly 10 runs a game, and its defense has held opponents to just under two runs a game.

The offense is led by Lizzy Talataina, Sinead Martin, Kerry Doran, Chanel Luis, Chiara DeMarco and Randi Fehser. The defense has been led by catcher Jamie Cortez, Dana Kerins, Kelli Tatum, Tyler Ratzlaff, Amanda Caswell, Katie Estes and Leilani Cooper.
