POLICE FILES: Man reportedly kicked bulldog

Alabama Street and Joliet Avenue: A man reportedly kicked his bulldog multiple times and threw the animal against a wall at 1:13 p.m. Monday.

AREA 1

Carousel Lane: Fireworks were reported in the 16600 block at 12:05 a.m. Saturday.

Edinger Avenue: Two restaurants reportedly had their front glass doors smashed, with the cash drawers ransacked, in the 5900 block at 7:42 a.m. Sunday.

Neely Circle: A residential burglary was reported in the 4800 block at 6:14 p.m. Saturday.

Winslow Drive: Fireworks were reportedly set off in the 6100 block at 1:06 a.m. Monday.

Keel Drive: Identity theft of a Social Security number was reported in the 8500 block at 11:10 a.m. Monday.

Talbert Avenue: A forged identification and checks were reported in the 8200 block at 1:36 p.m. Sunday.

Warner Avenue: A tool shed was reported burglarized in the 7700 block at 9:41 a.m. Monday.

California Street: A string of cars were reportedly vandalized in the 1200 block at 10:13 a.m. Sunday.

Main Street and Pacific Coast Highway: Someone reportedly stole a kite from a shop on Huntington Beach Pier, but an employee saw the kite flying just a few lifeguard towers down the beach at 12:01 p.m. Sunday. Police reportedly helped return the kite.

Hamden Lane: Someone reportedly called police and said her ex-boyfriend was selling drugs, then when police didn’t promise to go raid the property, called back and said her “neighbor” was selling large amounts of marijuana and cocaine, in the 19000 block at 3:37 a.m. Monday.

Van Ness Court: Trespassing was reported in the 8500 block at 4:46 p.m Saturday.

Yorktown Avenue: Petty theft was reported in the 7200 block at 11:24 a.m. Saturday.

Bushard Street: Grand theft was reported in the 17800 block at 5:54 p.m. Monday.

Talbert Avenue: A vehicle was reported burglarized in the 10100 block at 8:10 p.m. Monday.

La Hacienda Avenue and Brookhurst Street: A vehicle was reported burglarized at 7:45 a.m. Monday.

Kalama River Avenue: A suspected shoplifter in store custody was reported in the 10800 block at 5:46 p.m. Saturday.

McDermitt Street: Grand theft was reported in the 15900 block at 10:48 p.m. Monday.

Mount Lyndora Court: A vehicle was reported burglarized in the 17000 block at 6:41 p.m. Monday.

Warner Avenue: Vandalism was reported in the 9700 block at 3:25 p.m. Monday.
