Gallant men and ladies fair

Shakespearean garb was the order of the day July 7 when the Laguna Beach Chamber of Commerce held a Renaissance Faire and Hometown BBQ to celebrate the Pageant of the Masters’ 75th anniversary.

Revelers dined on sumptuous barbecue while jousters, shown in two of the photos above, entertained a delighted crowd. The knights were battling for the favor of Ebony Queen Michelle Clark and Ivory Queen Kay Kearney, shown in background with Kevin the Bard.

Belly-dancing by JJ and the Habibis, top, and a magic act rounded out the evening.
