Hand-made-eyewear store opens at the Camp

Baumvision Inc., a Southern California-based eyewear distributor, will throw a party Thursday to celebrate the opening of its first retail store, Eye Society.

Memphis Café will cater the event, which will be from 6 to 9 p.m. in the company’s store in the LAB shopping center.

Baumvision Inc. carries only hand-made frames from some major designers.

Eye Society, 2930 Bristol St., Costa Mesa, Suite A112, carries a variety of designers including Tom Ford, Paul Frank, Christian Dior, Marc Jacobs, Sabre Vision, Salt and Oliver Peoples.
