Face-offs at the pier

Six days of surfing competition have already been held but beginning today, the Go211 Live featuring the Honda U.S. Open of Surfing presented by O’Neill begins in full force with several events debuting at the south side of the Huntington Beach Pier.

Go211 Live, featuring surfing, skateboarding, BMX and FMX with live concerts in an interactive lifestyle festival setting, is the longest-running action sport and lifestyle festival in the state.

The U.S. Open of Surfing is the highest-rated qualifying contest in North America.

This year, 516 athletes worldwide representing 28 counties were schedule to compete in Surf City.
