Laguna Beach’s Bridge Learning Center For Homeless Children Inc. and Chocolate Lovers of America are offering space on a special train trip to the Del Mar racetrack from Orange County.

The date of the 16th annual event is Aug. 9, with train departure from San Juan Capistrano in the late morning. It returns early evening the same day.

The price of $90 per person includes round-trip train fare, transfers at the track, admission with reserved seating in the open-air Clubhouse Terrace Restaurant near the finish line, a race program and free chocolate.

The morning ride will be aboard a private Business Class Amtrak car that includes free snacks and beverages, and bar drinks may be purchased.

Participants may board Amtrak from a more distant station for an additional cost.
