UCI CAMP COMING

UC Irvine baseball coach Mike Gillespie and his staff will host its Showcase Camp Aug. 15-17 at Anteater Ballpark.

UC Irvine’s Baseball High School Showcase Camp, tailored for kids ages 15-18, will give players the opportunity showcase their talents in a competitive environment. The camp, which costs $225 for pitchers and $325 for all other positions, offers players the opportunity to be exposed to Division I coaches and learn their philosophies for success at the college level.

Players will be grouped into teams and face off in head-to-head competition. The camp also offers instructional skill sessions, defensive drills, batting practice sessions, strength and conditioning, a UCI campus tour, and catered lunch each day.
