Area 1

Cliff Drive: A Laguna Beach man was issued a citation for drinking alcohol in a park in the 300 block at 9:13 p.m. Friday.

Cliff Drive: A man was cited for illegally spearing a leopard shark at Boat Canyon Beach at 1:14 p.m. Sunday.

Crescent Bay Drive: A Newport Beach man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after hitting parked vehicles in the 100 block at 5 p.m. Thursday.

Locust Street: A three-legged dog was reported howling at a home with a red door in the 400 block at 1:16 a.m. Monday.

Lower Cliff Drive: An iPod, wallet and keys to a truck were reported stolen from an apartment, and the truck, a GMC Canyon pickup, was also reported stolen, in the 200 block at 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

Myrtle Street: A Walnut woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI and child endangerment at North Coast Highway at 9:44 p.m. Saturday.

Laguna Canyon Road: A wallet with $40 was reported missing at a festival in the 700 block at 11:18 a.m. Thursday.

Beach Street: A Studio City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI at Ocean Avenue at 12:35 a.m. Sunday.

Broadway: Police were called to handle a man who had been kicked off a trolley for being drunk, then wanted back on the trolley, in the 300 block at 6:18 p.m. Saturday.

Laguna Avenue: A Capistrano Beach man was arrested on suspicion of DUI at South Coast Highway at 1:14 a.m. Saturday.

Main Beach: A woman was treated for a bee sting in the 300 block of Main Beach at 4:33 p.m. Thursday.

Forest Avenue: A male reportedly ran out of a surf store with two shirts and a pair of shorts at 2:46 p.m. in the 200 block.

Park Avenue: A bag with a wallet, cash and a towel, totaling $500, was reported stolen in the 200 block at 12:46 p.m. Thursday.

Park Avenue: A New York man was issued a citation for drug possession at Through Street at 1:21 a.m. Friday.

South Coast Highway: A man was stung by a sting ray in the 100 block of Main at 9:22 a.m. Sunday.

Temple Hills Drive: A Land Rover struck a house in the 1300 block at 11:04 a.m. Wednesday.

Temple Hills Drive: Police were called to assist someone in retrieving a parrot from a neighbor’s tree in the 1100 block at 6:40 p.m. Friday.

Temple Hills Drive: A bobcat was reported on a fire road at Sommet du Monde at 7:15 p.m. Sunday.

Thalia Street: A woman reported a bee sting in the 100 block of the beach at 5:02 p.m. Thursday.

Bluebird Canyon Drive: A Capistrano Beach man was arrested on suspicion of DUI at South Coast Highway at 5:45 p.m. Sunday.

Brooks Street: An attic fire was reported at 5:55 p.m. in the 600 block and extinguished at 6:12 p.m. Wednesday.

Brooks Street: An Irvine woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI after striking a pedestrian, causing minor injuries, at South Coast Highway at 1:49 a.m. Saturday.

Cleo Street: A Saugus woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI after striking several parked cars at South Coast Highway at 12:59 a.m. Sunday.

Glenneyre Street: A rabbit was reported stolen from its cage in the 2600 block at 4:34 p.m. Wednesday.

Katella Street: A fire on a deck caused by used rags was reported in the 1300 block at 10:34 a.m. Thursday.

Mountain Road: A Laguna Beach man was issued a citation for spearing two lobsters out of season in the 100 block of the beach at 5:34 p.m. Tuesday.

Nyes Place: A purse was reported stolen from a vehicle overnight in the 400 block at 8:38 a.m. Tuesday.

South Coast Highway: A bag of jewelry was reported stolen from a hotel room in the 2000 block at 12:44 a.m. Sunday.

South Coast Highway: A San Clemente resident was arrested on suspicion of DUI in the 1100 block at 2:12 a.m. Sunday.

Bay Drive: Twenty juveniles were escorted off the beach after having a bonfire and fireworks in the 00 block of Three Arch Beach at 8:39 p.m. Monday.

Bluff Drive: Two citations were issued for having a bonfire on Tablerock beach in the 31000 block at 8:24 p.m. Wednesday.

Coast Highway: A Laguna Niguel woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI after running two red lights in the 30800 block at 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Coast Highway: A Mission Viejo man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication in the 30600 block at 1:28 a.m. Saturday.

Coast Highway: A man who was reported “streaking” could not be located in the 30800 block at 5:09 a.m. Saturday.

Coast Highway: An Aliso Viejo man was arrested on suspicion of DUI in the 31000 block at 2:17 a.m. Sunday.

Coast Highway: Police used a slim jim to remove a dog from a vehicle with windows barely cracked in the 31000 block of Aliso Beach at 5:20 p.m. Tuesday.

Egan Road: A juvenile was arrested on suspicion of DUI in the 31000 block at 10:41 p.m. Friday.

North La Senda Drive: A man was given medical aid after he fell to the beach in the 500 block at 6:16 p.m. Monday.

Tablerock Beach: A woman reported her beach bag “” with wallet, cellphone, keys and credit cards, totaling $350 “” was stolen while she was in the water at 3:31 p.m. Friday.

Tablerock Beach: A man was cited for public nudity at 3:50 p.m. Sunday.
