Pop Warner season begins on Saturday

Huntington Beach Pop Warner Football will launch its 2008 season Saturday with opening day festivities at Edison High.

The day begins with a 7 a.m. pancake breakfast, followed by an appearance by Huntington Beach Mayor Debbie Cook. Breakfast tickets can be purchased for $3 Saturday.

Following the festivities, 13 Huntington Beach teams will play scrimmages. The game schedule is as follows:
