Cliff Drive: A woman reported a rusty hook in her foot in the 300 block of Heisler Park at 5:12 p.m. Friday.

Cliff Drive: An injured sea lion was reported on rocks in the 100 block of the beach at 10:25 a.m. Thursday.

Cliff Drive: CPR was given to a person who wasn’t breathing after being rescued from the ocean by lifeguards in the 600 block of the beach at 3:27 p.m. Tuesday.

Jasmine Street: A gas card was reported as being used fraudulently to purchase $800 in gasoline in the 400 block at 3:32 p.m. Monday.

North Coast Highway: A sting ray victim was reported in the 100 block of Main Beach at 12:44 p.m. Friday.

North Coast Highway: A person was treated for a sting ray sting in the 100 block of the beach at 3:39 p.m. Tuesday.

North Coast Highway: A dead sea lion that had been buried was reported uncovered in the 100 block of the beach at 12:42 p.m. Tuesday.

Cozumel Court: A $750 loss from ID theft was reported in the 100 block at 9:48 a.m. Friday.

La Costa Court: A rattlesnake was reported in a kitchen, then released into the wild in the 00 block at 9:22 p.m. Friday.

Laguna Canyon Road: A man from Orange was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop in the 20600 block at 4:09 a.m. Thursday.

Area 3

Anita Street: An Irvine man was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of meth after he told police he thought he was being followed in the 200 block at 1:47 p.m. Thursday.

Broadway: Police were called to respond to a woman sitting on a bus bench in her underwear cleaning out her purse at 9:47 a.m. Sunday at the bus depot in the 300 block.

Forest Avenue: A homeless man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication and a drug charge after people complained he was playing a harmonica and cursing at people in the 200 block at 3 p.m. Friday.

Forest Avenue: Police were called to settle a parking dispute in which a man was saving a parking space and a woman was trying to pull in at South Coast Highway at 6 p.m. Sunday.

Forest Avenue: A juvenile male was accused of stealing three shirts, valued at $60, from a surf shop in the 200 block at 2:27 p.m. Friday.

Forest Avenue: A homeless man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication after people complained he was yelling and being foul-mouthed at Beach Street at 8:06 p.m. Tuesday.

Mermaid Street: A Laguna Beach man was arrested on a drug charge after a traffic stop in the 300 block at 7:08 p.m. Wednesday.

Ocean Avenue: A large rat was reported wandering a restaurant in the 300 block at 1:40 p.m. Wednesday.

Park Avenue: Someone reported being pick-pocketed in the 200 block at 9:45 p.m. Friday.

Sleepy Hollow: A person was treated for a sting ray sting in the 600 block of the beach at 4:36 p.m. Tuesday.

South Coast Highway: A homeless man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication in the 100 block at 1:32 a.m. Thursday.

South Coast Highway: A backpack with a camera, iPod and other items valued at $700 was reported stolen from the 100 block at 3:28 p.m. Tuesday.

Cleo Street: A Santa Ana man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication at South Coast Highway at 5:11 p.m. Thursday.

Dumond Drive: A Laguna Beach man was arrested on suspicion of child molestation after allegedly pulling down a child’s pants in the 100 block at 3:45 p.m. Saturday.

Juanita Way: More than $30,000 worth of jewelry was reported stolen from a closet in the 2500 block at 6:39 a.m. Friday.

Nyes Place: A man was arrested on suspicion of DUI at South Coast Highway at 12:45 a.m. Sunday.

South Coast Highway: A Rancho Santa Margarita man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication in the 1300 block at 2:29 p.m. Friday.

South Coast Highway: More than $1,000 was reported stolen from a hotel room by an acquaintance of the victim in the 1400 block at 12:24 p.m. Saturday.

South Coast Highway: A fountain was reported stolen from the front of a store in the 1200 block at 1:32 p.m. Monday.

South Coast Highway: A Mission Viejo man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication in the 1500 block at 12:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Wards Terrace: A $120 cement turtle was reported stolen from a yard in the 2800 block at 3:10 p.m. Tuesday.

Circle Drive: Construction tools were reported stolen from a job site after a lock was cut over the weekend in the 31800 block at 9:13 a.m. Monday.

Coast Highway: A pedestrian was taken to South Coast Medical Center after being struck by a vehicle in the 31000 block at 5:53 p.m. Thursday.

Coast Highway: A pedestrian refused treatment after being struck by a vehicle in the 31000 block at 5:53 p.m. Thursday.

Coast Highway: Paramedics were called to help a woman who was unconscious in the middle of the street after she ran and fell in the 31000 block at 8:05 p.m. Friday.

Coast Highway: A purse was reported stolen from a vehicle, resulting in a $3,000 loss, in the 31000 block at 8:42 p.m. Sunday.

Coast Highway: Three people were taken to hospitals, two with moderate injuries, and the highway closed for a time after a three-vehicle head-on collision in the 30800 block at 4:56 p.m. Monday.

Coast Highway: A Laguna Beach man was arrested on suspicion of having marijuana in his possession in the 30600 block at 1:01 p.m. Monday.

Terry Road: $90,000 was reported stolen from a bank through fraud in the 2800 block at 2:44 p.m. Tuesday.

Vista del Sol: A Mission Viejo man was arrested on suspicion of DUI at Coast Highway at 1:07 a.m. Friday.

West Street: A $300 loss was reported from a vehicle burglary where a window was smashed in the 31500 block at 5:54 p.m. Sunday.
