Estancia High School’s Cheerleading program has begun the season with it’s right foot forward. The 2008 Cheerleading team consists of Diana Arevalo, Emma Avalos, Adela Basurto, Gabrielle Bergstedt, Blianca Camacho, Mayra Diaz, Jaclyn England, Parisa Esfahani, Alex Fopma, Lindsey Gaitan, Melanie Griffon, Ashley Guadarrama, Victoria Guthrie, Karen Lopez, Yvonne Macias, Kiara Magana, Evelyn Manning, Angelina Ortiz, Hector Perez, Mckenzie Pfeifer, Jillian Tanner, Sally Tapia, Tiffani Turner, Hayley Underhill, Alba Vasquez, and Amanda Wilson.

.orangetext15{display:none;} The team, parents, and new coaches have been working hard all summer to prepare for the upcoming school year. The team has been working hard on cheers, stunts, and dance routines and are more than ready to impress the staff and student body this year. The team attended the Universal Cheer Associations Summer Camp 2008 at University of California, Santa Barbara in August, where they won 2nd place in “Camp Champs”, won three spirit sticks, and won the best award a cheerleading team could receive, “The Top Banana, father of the spirit stick”. The new coaches could not be any happier or more impressed with the team’s performance at camp! Good job ladies and gentlemen; we’re proud of you!
