Children can learn from pros at hockey clinic today

Children up to 16 years of age can learn how to play hockey from theAnaheim Ducks today at the 949 Roller Hockey Center in Irvine.

The inaugural Orange County Shoot for the Cure will be held at the 949 Roller Hockey Center from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. to benefit the Children’s Hospital of Orange County Oncology Floor and the American Cancer Society Orange County Region. The event will feature appearances by 2006-07 Stanley Cup Champion Anaheim Ducks players Joe DiPenta, Chris Pronger, George Parros, Brad May, Todd Marchant, Bobby Ryan and several others.

Individual fee for the clinic is $100 and general admission is $10.
