New delivery company aims to serve seniors

Doctor Delivery, which started in Washington D.C., in 2002, recently expanded its services to Newport Beach and Costa Mesa, and plans to progress into Huntington Beach and Irvine by early next year. Through the service, customers can have food delivered to their homes from the Newport Rib Company, Chronic Cantina, Mama D’s and other restaurants around town.

“We have had our eye on opening Doctor Delivery in Orange County for some time now because the demographic makeup and logistical patterns are perfect for what we do,” marketing director Gerry Farrell said in a news release. “For the price of a decent restaurant tip, customers can get food from the area’s best eateries brought to their home or office.”
