League to hold forum for City Council candidates

Wondering who to vote for in this year’s City Council elections? Next week, residents can see them in action.

The League of Women Voters of Huntington Beach and the local branch of the American Assn. of University Women will be holding a candidate forum Sept. 18 for all seven people running for City Council in November.

The forum will be at City Hall in the Council Chambers. A moderator will present questions, submitted in writing, to all the candidates.

The event will run from 7 to 8:30 p.m. It will also be broadcast on local access television station HBTV-3, and will be available at any time at www.surfcity-hb.org.
