HUNTINGTON BEACH — Senior Natalie Placencia and sophomore Laurel Henson worked overtime to sweep at No. 2 doubles to key the nonleague road win Wednesday.

The Eagles’ duo, playing together for the first time, earned a pair of 7-6 victories with identical 9-7 tiebreaker wins. One of those was the final set of the match, said Estancia Coach Rachel de los Santos, who watched her team rally from a 4-5 deficit, and stave off several set points in the tiebreaker to prevail. The win was cruicial, de los Santos said, because Ocean View would have won on games had the two teams tied, 9-9.
