‘You Can, You Are’

In its fifth year, the Episcopal Fellowship of Lesbians and Gays and Straights, in conjunction with the Bishop’s Commission for Gay and Lesbian Ministry will present a specially designed evening of shared faith experiences, music and reconciliation in celebration of National Coming Out Day, observed Saturday. This year’s multigenerational venue titled “You Can, You Are” will feature people reading their own coming out stories in light of their faith. Music will be provided by the GLBT vocal ensemble South Coast Chorale from Long Beach. The event will be at 6 p.m. at St. Wilfrid of York, 18631 Chapel Lane. Call (714) 962-7512.

Informing voters

Community United Methodist Church will sponsor an information night featuring The League of Women Voters at 7:30 p.m. at 6652 Heil Ave., Huntington Beach.
