A look back at old school days

Laguna Beach High School is celebrating its 75th anniversary with a big Homecoming celebration at 5 p.m. today at the school.

Laguna Beach will play Francis Parker of the CIF San Diego Section in the homecoming game at 7 p.m.

Past Homecoming Court and cheerleading squad members from 1964 through 2005 will be present.

The returning alumni court and the 2008 court will be presented during the halftime show, and the current freshman, sophomore, junior and senior classes will perform their class dances on the field “” an annual homecoming tradition.

Howard Hills, a 1970 graduate of the school, says the 75th anniversary festivities are drawing more alums into the Alumni Assn., and he hopes this will result in more involvement in the school.
