Because black cats are often the victims of cruel pranks during the Halloween season, Community Animal Network requires a visit to the home of those who want to adopt a black cat between Nov. 1 and Nov. 15.

Statistics indicate that during the month of October dogs and cats of all colors experience unusual harm and cruelty customarily through pranks.

Keep a watchful eye on groups of kids and supervise your children’s after school activities. Recognize the facts that kids in groups can take on a group mentality that could harm people as well as animals.
