COSTA MESA — Senior middle blocker Michal Shortridge finished with nine kills for the Lions, but it wasn’t enough as Point Loma Nazarene won, 25-21, 25-22, 20-25, 25-17, in a Golden State Athletic Conference match Tuesday.

Junior Meghan Walsh had seven kills and 13 digs for Vanguard (12-6, 7-6 in conference).
