Chin shot a final-round 69 to complete a tournament-record 203 (68-66-69), nine shots ahead of San Francisco’s Christina Stockton. It is Chin’s third consecutive tournament title, becoming the first UCI player to win three straight individual events. Chin’s 54-hole total of 203 is a school record as was the 36-hole score of 134. Her second-round 66 matches the school record held by teammate Patty Chawalitmetha.

As a team, the Anteaters rallied with the low score of the day (290), but ended up tied for second with San Jose State with a score of 878, 11 shots behind team champion San Francisco.

UCI’s 54-hole total of 878 ties the school record set in 2005 at the Spartan Invitational.

Chawalitmetha, a junior, shot 70 Wednesday to move up to 21st with a score of 223 (78-75-70).

Freshman Joy Trotter was 24th (72-76-76) while freshman Lalita Patipaksiri finished 36 (78-75-75). Hillary Packard was 62nd (82-76-80).
