Praying outside the box

Scott Preller, a practitioner and teacher of Christian Science healing, Bible scholar, and a member of The Christian Science Board of Lectureship will present a talk titled, “Breaking Free of that ‘Boxed In’ Feeling” at 10:30 a.m. at Huntington Beach Central Library, Room C and D, 7111 Talbert Avenue, Huntington Beach. Blood Drive

St. Peter’s by the Sea Presbyterian Church and the American Red Cross will hold a blood drive from 1 to 7 p.m. at the Family Worship Center, 16871 Bolsa Chica St., Huntington Beach. Walk-ins are welcome, or, to schedule an appointment, call (714) 625-1992 or go to www.givelife.org, sponsor code: stpeterbythesea. A photo ID is required prior to donating blood.
