Vote Yes on Prop 2

All that Proposition 2 is asking is for is the Humane treatment of animals. Why is this not already something that is the law?

How can we turn our eyes and our conscience from the inhumane way we, as a society, treat our animals? How can we justify cramming our animals into cages so small that they can’t even turn around, or calves being tethered by the neck barely being able to move? If this was the way our cats or dogs were being treated there would be a public outcry! Why then is it OK to treat other animals this way? If people could visit a factory farm I am sure they would without a doubt believe that Prop 2 is the least we can do for these animals.

Lastly, let’s think about what two great men have said: Abraham Lincoln,”I am in favor of animal rights as well as human rights. That is the way of a whole human being.” and this one by Ganhdi, “The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.”
