Vanguard ring ceremony scheduled for Tuesday

The defending NAIA Division I women’s basketball champion from Vanguard University will be presented its championship rings at halftime of the men’s alumni game, which follows the women’s alumni game Tuesday at Vanguard.

The women’s alumni game begins at 5:30 p.m. and the men’s game is scheduled for 7:30. The ring ceremony will take place at approximately 7:45.

Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students with identification. Children six and under are free.

Also for sale will be a National Championship Package, including a DVD of the title game, a national championship T-shirt and a team picture of the 2007-08 Lions women’s squad.
