NEWPORT BEACH — Natalie Small and Jeanne Frei swept at No. 1 doubles for the Sailors in the Sunset League finale Monday at home.
Small and Frei are 24-3 in league doubles.
The Sailors completed a perfect 10-0 league season and improved to 17-3.

COSTA MESA — Claire Ramser scored on a penalty corner with 10 seconds left Monday to propel the Sailors into the Tournament of Champions semifinals today at Harvard-Westlake.
Lauren Chandler and Claire Layton also had goals for the Tars in the quarterfinal victory.
Newport defeated Harvard-Westlake in their only previous meeting this season.

CIF individuals
YUCAIPA — Newport Harbor junior Lauren Draganza and senior Tiffany Kane finished in the top half of the 90-player field Monday at Yucaipa Golf Course to advance to the CIF Southern Section Individual tournament Thursday at Mountain Meadows Golf Course in Pomona.
Draganza shot eight-over-par 80 and Kane shot 82.

ANAHEIM — The Sailors solidified their hold on second place with the 25-14, 25-18, 25-19 Sunset League road sweep Monday.
Mary Buckingham had 15 kills and Kirby Burnham added nine for the winners (19-7, 6-2 in league).
Kelly Heenan chipped in 15 digs for the Tars.

COSTA MESA — The visiting Breaker clinched the outright Orange Coast League title with a 25-14, 25-19, 25-16 triumph Monday.
Annie Tomasek had 12 kills and Shona Lamb had 23 assists to pace the Eagles (18-6, 5-2), who will make their fourth straight trip to the CIF Southern Section playoffs as the league’s second-place representative.
