Area 1

Chiquita Street: A person was given medical treatment after a bicycling accident at North Coast Highway at 12:57 a.m. Saturday.

Chiquita Street: A Corona del Mar man was arrested on suspicion of DUI at North Coast Highway at 2:32 a.m. Saturday.

Hillcrest Drive: A 15-year-old boy broke his leg trying to jump a fence at Emerald Bay in the 1600 block at 4:24 p.m. Tuesday.

North Coast Highway: A man was accused of stealing a bottle of Jim Beam liquor from a supermarket and drinking it around the corner in the 600 block at 5:19 p.m. Wednesday.

North Coast Highway: A person was reported to have taken a cup of coffee without paying for it at a market in the 1300 block at 5:06 a.m. Monday.

North Coast Highway: A Mission Viejo woman was arrested after allegedly taking a cup of coffee without paying at a gas station in the 100 block at 7:20 p.m. Monday.

Laguna Canyon Road: A Laguna Beach man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after his vehicle went into some bushes in the 2000 block at 12:35 a.m. Wednesday.

Laguna Canyon Road: A bicyclist with a possible dislocated shoulder was reported on a trail in the 2000 block at 7:22 a.m. Sunday.

Chateau Way: A cellphone and $10 cash was reported stolen from a student’s high school locker in the 2000 block at 3:33 p.m. Friday.

El Paseo: Two swimmers were rescued after they swam from a boat and then called for help in the 300 block at 1:59 p.m. Sunday.

Glenneyre Street: An Oklahoma man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after he was found sitting in his vehicle with the motor running in a parking structure in the 400 block at 4:08 a.m. Thursday.

Mar Vista Way: $10,000 in cash was reported stolen from a home office in the 1400 block at 5:13 p.m. Tuesday.

Ocean Avenue: Four teenagers were reported to be squirting bleach from a vehicle at South Coast Highway at 8:30 p.m. Thursday.

Ocean Avenue: A Laguna Beach man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication in the 200 block at 7:38 p.m. Tuesday.

Rounsevel Terrace: Tiki torches at a large party resulted in a fire call in the 2000 block at 9:30 p.m. Saturday.

South Coast Highway: A Laguna Beach woman was arrested on suspicion of stealing two bottles of liquor from a market in the 700 block at 11:19 a.m. Thursday.

South Coast Highway: A Laguna Beach man was arrested on a burglary charge after allegedly stealing 12-pack of beer valued at $19.04, from a market in the 700 block at 4:59 p.m. Saturday.

South Coast Highway: A purse was reported stolen from a nightclub in the 600 block at 12:21 p.m. Sunday.

South Coast Highway: A South Dakota man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication after allegedly refusing to leave a hotel in the 600 block at 8:06 p.m. Tuesday.

Temple Hills Drive: The windshield of a BMW was reported smashed in the 1400 block at 12:16 p.m. Sunday.

Calliope Street: A Newport Beach man was arrested on suspicion of DUI at South Coast Highway at 12:28 a.m. Thursday.

Diamond Street: A Laguna Niguel man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after driving erratically in the 200 block at 8:43 a.m. Sunday.

Ensenada Avenue: A digital camera, laptop computer, three pairs of sunglasses and an iPod totaling $5,414 were reported stolen from a vehicle in a garage in the 1200 block at 12:30 p.m. Saturday.

South Coast Highway: An office was reported ransacked at a business in the 1400 block at 9:09 a.m. Monday.

Coast Highway: A Laguna Beach man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication after he was found passed out in the street in the 31000 block at 2:13 a.m. Wednesday.

Coast Highway: A San Juan Capistrano man was cited on a drug charge at Montage Resort Drive at 11:50 p.m. Tuesday.

S. Stonington Road: A $2,000 ring was reported stolen from a home in the first block at 8:59 a.m. Thursday.

Third Avenue: A woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop at Coast Highway at 12:48 a.m. Friday.

Vista de Catalina: A school project involving a balloon and a lighter resulted in a bathroom fire in the first block at 9:29 a.m. Monday.
