It’s safe to say that Tina Theriot’s blood runs blue. The Corona del Mar High senior will compete in track and field at UCLA, her father, Brian, said.

Tina’s older brother, Trevor, is out with an injury, but is on the Bruins’ football team, and her father was a captain of the UCLA track and field team in 1980 and a member of the 1978 NCAA championship team.

Tina Theriot was a captain for the CdM girls’ cross country team that won the CIF Division III state title and Southern Section championship in Division III. She was also named Most Valuable Sprinter by CdM for her efforts in track and field last spring.
