Baseball legend Don Newcombe spoke to the Orange County Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators (OC-ALA) today in Costa Mesa at the Center Club, December 9, 2008.

A group of 60 of Orange County’s legal administrators and attorneys assembled for the Managing Partner’s Holiday Luncheon and to hear Newcombe speak. His talk included anecdotes about a meeting with Dr. Martin Luther King, serious tales about the types of discrimination they faced on the road, a display and reading of an encouraging letter from President Eisenhower, and a risque story about his friend Terry Bradshaw on his wedding night.

2 autographed baseballs and 12 autographed photographs were raffled off to those in attendance.
