The Anaheim-based Disaster Recovery Center set up to help the immediate needs of victims of last month’s wildfires will shift its focus to long-term needs through loans starting Monday, officials said.

The Disaster Loan Outreach Center, 8201 E. Santa Ana Canyon Road, will open Monday and continue normal operating hours as the Disaster Recovery Center from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays. The center will offer low-interest loans to homeowners, renters, businesses and private nonprofits to repair or replace property damaged or destroyed by the fires from Nov. 13 to 28 in the Yorba Linda area. So far, the U.S. Small Business Administration, which offers the loans, has handed out more than $5.3 million in low-interest loans.

Call FEMA registration at (800) 621-3362 or call the Small Business Administration at (800) 659-2955.
