LONG BEACH — Sophomore Mark Loper scored 20 points to lead the Lightning in a consolation game of the St. Anthony Holiday Classic Monday.

Senior Troy Astorino added 15 points, while junior Frank Shapiro and sophomore T.J. Danner contributed 10 points each for Sage Hill (7-7).

The Lightning will play in the third-place game today.

GARDEN GROVE — Sophomore Kayla Marolt led the winners with 17 points Monday to propel them into today’s consolation title game of the Garden Grove Tournament at Garden Grove High.

Sophomore Ellie Nadal had six points, six assists and six steals for the Sea Kings (13-1), who received 10 rebounds from sophomore Gabby Rapp.
