MAGGIE AND MICKEY

These two 8-year-old Labradors, Maggie and Mickey, are available for adoption again.

Their most recent adoptive family returned them because they were concerned Maggie may be partially blind as she was tending to bump into things.

Dr. Pasco of All Creatures Cottage examined the dogs, and there are no life-threatening problems, according to the dogs’ caretakers, the Community Animal Network.

The organization is accepting donations to help defray the costs of teeth cleaning and treating Mickey’s chronic ear infection.

The network would like to find a new home for the pair, hopefully together since they have been best friends for a long time, according to their caretakers.

Maggie and Mickey are affectionate and enjoy running and playing fetch, especially at the beach.

You can meet Maggie and Mickey and other animals up for adoption from noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays at Fashion Island.
