Freshman Jenna Lujan added 17 points and sophomore Casey Gomez had 13 points for OCC (12-6).

BAKERSFIELD — Anteaters sophomore Raquel Theus came off the bench to score a career-high 17 points in the nonconference road clash Tuesday.

Theus was six of nine from the field and five of six from the foul line for UCI (3-10).

Junior Jovana Petrovic had 10 rebounds and nine points, both career highs.

Bakersfield is 8-6.

UCI opens Big West Conference play Saturday at Cal State Fullerton at 5 p.m.
