CORONA DEL MAR — Junior Azedeh Nazemi scored twice to help pace the host Sea Kings, who posted their 10th shutout in 13 games this season in the nonleague clash Monday.
Lindsey Luke and Sarah Cox each played a half in goal for CdM and both recorded one save.
Katie Devarian, Ashleigh Smith and Brooke Demiranda also scored for the winners, who received assists from Hayley Raguse, Cosette Andujar, Lauren Smith and Paige Sigband.
CdM improved to 5-2-6.
Laguna Beach fell to 7-2-7.
CdM is idle until opening Pacific Coast League play on Jan. 13.

IRVINE — The visiting Sailors held an opponent to fewer than 35 points for the seventh straight game to claim the nonleague contest Monday night.
Newport Harbor (5-10) opens Sunset League play Thursday at Los Alamitos.

COSTA MESA — Kassie Stratton had 15 points for the Eagles in the nonleague home game Monday.
Erika Soto sat most of the game with a sore knee, Co-Coach Xavier Castellano said.
Estancia visits crosstown rival Costa Mesa to open Orange Coast League play Thursday at 7 p.m.
