NEWPORT COAST — Lion Wintemute scored in the 25th minute off an assist from Taylor Ross for the Lightning in their Academy League game Thursday.

The match was stopped with 20 minutes left because there was too much fog, but Sage Hill (4-1-4, 2-0 in league) was still granted the win.
