Obama- USA service Day

The Bolsa Chica Land Trust is participating in President Elect Obama’s call for a Service Day events on this Inaugural weekend. The Land Land Trust will be hosting two events.

Saturday, January 17 at the Bolsa Chica North parking lot will be the Bolsa Chica Stewards workday. Starting at 9 until 12 noon the public is invited to join in restoration work out on the Bolsa Chica. Please wear long pants, put on lots of sunscreen. MondayJanuary 19, MLK holiday the Bolsa Chica Land Trust will be hosting a beach clean up in Huntington Beach at life guard station 16, north of the pier. Park on Coast Highway at 20th street. The program is part of the City of Huntingtoni Beach clean up program and begins at 9am. Free parking passes, gloves and bags provided. Come down and enjoy the beach in the winter. Watch the dolpins and clean the beach as part of the USA service day to honor MLK .
