The city of Costa Mesa is United

Dear Sponsors, Players, Fellow Committee Members, Volunteers and Supporters of Costa Mesa United:

I am writing you this letter to say thank you. The tournament yesterday was a huge success, and as the financial numbers are tallied, I can tell you that it is my suspicion that it was the most successful ever!

Many of you reached deep into your pockets (during tough times) to support the youth of Costa Mesa. The future of our great city will be shaped by the very infectious enthusiasm that Costa Mesa United stands for and the sports programs it supports.

As we swear in a President Elect Obama this morning, I feel it is poignant to say, through your involvement, donations, and effort, you have voiced your very own words of change. That, the sports programs and facilities of Costa Mesa will no longer stand in the shadows of other cities, but will be emblematic of a proud community that came together to truly make the city, Costa Mesa United.

On behalf of Costa Mesa United, thank you for all you have done and what we will do together in the coming years, you have made a difference.
