Dr Gayle Cleigh made her transition Jan 13th after a long and gallant battle with health challenges.

She was a long time resident of Laguna Beach. Dr Cleigh retired from the OC Dept of Health and Human Services where she was the OC Woman of Achievement. She had been in private practice as a forensic psychologist and tirelessly served many people in need until her hospitalization in 2006.

She was also a beloved teacher, Board member, and Director of Practitioners for the Laguna Beach Center for Global Peace and Prosperity.

Her love and caring for many people will be missed by all whose lives she had touched.

She is survived by her husband Artist Philip Owens, her sister Terri Fort, two cousins Janis and Julie, and by her furry children Thiele and Misty, and her extended family at the Center.

A Memorial celebration of her life will be held at Aliso Creek Inn, Sunday Jan. 25th between 1-5 PM.

In leiu of flowers, it is requested all donations be made to the Community Service Projects of the Center for Global Peace and Prosperity , Laguna Beach.
