Four Seahawks earn all-league accolades

Four members of the Ocean View High football team have been named to the All-Golden West League football team.

Senior Kenny Tarpley was a first-team offense selection and junior Kody Afusia earned first-team defensive pick.

Senior running back Kyle Walker and senior linebacker Ryan Morejon both were named to the second team.

The Seahawks finished 4-6 in 2008 and were 1-4 in league, with its four losses coming by an average of 19.8 points per game.

Westminster’s Aaron Garbutt earned Most Valuable player honors and Louie Villa was the Defensive Player of the Year.

Santa Ana quarterback Chris Ledesma was the Offensive Player of the Year and teammate Felix Ruelas was the Lineman of the Year.
