AARP offering tax return assistance to seniors

AARP will offer free income tax assistance to seniors 50 and older from noon to 3 p.m. Tuesdays from Feb. 3 to April 14.

Bring a driver’s license or identification card, the current year’s tax forms and preparation booklet, a copy of last year’s income tax return, a W-2 from each employer, unemployment compensation statements, an SA-1099 form if Social Security benefits have been received, all 1099 forms, all forms indicating federal income tax paid, dependent care provider information, social security numbers for all dependents, and all receipts or canceled checks if itemizing deductions.
