SANTA ANA — Senior Ayla Medina had two goals and one assist to pace the Mustangs in the Orange Coast League road game Monday.

Junior Natalie Argueta had one goal and one assist, while Cheyenne Lopez had two assists for the winners (10-5-7, 5-0-2 in league).

Costa Mesa, which can clinch the league title with a win Feb. 10 against Laguna Beach, also received goals from Shaylen McNulty and Dana Gentling.

Jessica Rubright made six saves for the Mustangs.

SANTA ANA — Sophomore Alissa Scheafer and junior Katy Mendez each scored twice in the Eagles’ Orange Coast League road contest Monday.

Jackie Freiberger rounded out the scoring while Heather Flores had two assists.

Estancia’s Ally Wallace made one save.

The Eagles (9-7-3, 3-0-3 in league) play host to Laguna Beach today at 4:45 p.m.
