Valentine’s Day is a week away, and lovers are busy making plans for a special romantic evening. There are many ways to spend the evening wining and dining your sweetie, from fabulous five-course meals to tasting menus.

Many Laguna Beach restaurants are planning romantic musical entertainment and other specials, too. But act fast. Reservations are filling up.

?Mandarin Fine Art Gallery, 1294 S. Coast Hwy, will host a Valentine’s Special with a 20% discount on all artwork and 50% on jewelry for your Valentine through Saturday. Wine, cheese and music will also be offered from 6 to 9 p.m.

?Mozambique, 1740 S. Coast Hwy, will feature “Sweetheart Specials” and “Exotic Elixirs” all weekend long. An “In love with lobster” dinner for two at the sweet price of $99 will be served from 5 to 10 p.m, and includes a complimentary Grand Marnier Crème Brulee dessert. Rock/jazz/soul group “Upstart” will play from 8:45 to 11:45 Saturday and Sunday. There will also be an A la Carte Sunday Brunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with live entertainment by Lee Farrell.
